AIDE Canada
It can be difficult to know how best to support firefighters during emergency calls for your loved one. No one knows that better than Captain Harold Kiesewetter of Richmond Fire Rescue in British Columbia. He is a parent of an autistic child and has been training first responders in BC on how best to support people with developmental disabilities during an emergency. In this short video, Captain Kiesewetter shares some of his experiences and offers advice on what you can do to make sure emergency situations have the best outcome possible.
